Eliminate the need for a mouse click on binoculars when looking up a consitutent, query name, etc. Merged

It would be great if while we are typing the name of a constituent we could just hit the Enter key instead of having to go to our mouse to click on the binoculars to search. This extra step disrupts something that could be done in one swift movement. It's especially annoying for users of mouse pens.

I think I understand what you mean. This is in database view, not web view, correct?

    Hello.

I was referring to the Constituents Page, Records, Quick Find on the hosted Raiser’s Edge. Does this make sense?

I have the same questions as Jen. Please clarify this idea so we can make sure we are fully understanding the request as it was intended! Thanks!

When you are typing, NXT starts searching as you type.  No need to click the magnifying glass.  And when the record you're looking for comes up, you can arrow down and use [Enter] to select/open that record.

Or are you talking about something else altogether?  Or maybe you're talking RE:7 instead of RE:NXT?  Since there aren't Queries in NXT yet?
