It would be very helpful to have the ability to scan membership cards in the work center, rather than having to open up database view. The work center is already a more streamlined view of constituent records and is easier to navigate quickly. It is better for workflow for font line staff to only have that opened while working the front desk. Also, this historic site does not have a very good wifi connection, and the website-based work center is faster than the database. Increasing the speed of front end transactions gets visitors in the door faster, shortening lines and creating a better visitor experience.
