With the change in year comes the pain of entering the full date for any transactions that occurred last year.

But wouldn't it be great if RE could be set to a Smart mode that assumed any Day greater than current was last month?

Eg: On 02-Jan-2020, I type 12 and it assumes 12-Dec-2019. I type 16 and it assumes 16-Dec-2019, but if I type 1 then it assumes 01-Jan-2020.
