First gift reporting options in dashboards and insight designer

We're working on tracking first gifts and new donors. I would like to be able to create reports to understand gift size and appeal for new donors/first gifts, but that type of segmentation is not currently available in NXT. 

 

Even if you used life cycle status, that uses current status, and wouldn't let you accurately compare different time periods.

    I cannot believe this is still not available... the hoops I have to jump through to get this basic data are crazy...

    Yes! Please create the ability to filter on new donors so that Dashboards can be created with insights that will demonstrate info on our first time donors.

    We had this same issue. We wanted to use First Gift date to be able to report on all first time donors within a given fiscal year, but the only options available were constituent date added, Fiscal and gift date, fiscal.
