Automate prospect profile generation

For those of us in prospect development, it would be fantastic for NXT to have functionality to generate a prospect profile in Word or PDF format so that we can replace what a lot of us have to do - creating templates in Word. Many of us in the profession have previously used Crystal Reports and may not have access to this functionality anymore (or have never had it at all). Mail Merge in database view is a potential way of doing this, but has many limitations. Ideally I'd like to see NXT have similar functionality to how ResearchPoint can generate a prospect profile - being able to select which areas you would like to produce in the report, having a prospect picture export from the database, and so on.

    Hi everyone! Being able to generate a Research/Prospect Profile within RENXT is something we are currently working on. The first version of this will be an Event Card and is made to help organizations prepare for upcoming events, so that you walk into conversations confidently. For more information about it, check out the upcoming Product Update Briefing. This profile is meant to be shorter, and more focused on the info you really need as you prep for an event, but we have other profiles planned that will be more comprehensive, or give you different pieces of information, depending on the purpose of the profile.

    As we start to strategize for the next profile we will be building, we would love to chat with some of you about what types of profiles you create now (or want to create but haven't yet), what data you need on those profiles, and how you would like to view and generate the information.

    What Rachel said! :-) Thanks for bringing this up Rachel, having a functional way to export a pdf with areas you want to include in the profile for development staff would be amazing!

    Please let the profile convert to Word format, sooo much easier to edit, something we have to do for the College President regardless of how any version of a profile pulls, right now we have to do it nearly all manually

    Hi All, Our org. just converted to NXT...I could have sworn we asked the sales rep. if this type of report was available in NXT and we got a yes.....

    I would love for this to be an option; we want our fundraisers to have as many options for self-service as possible and at the moment, having to use RE exports with mailmerge to produce a shareable profile creates a bottle neck and overreliance on one member of staff (me!) to create them.

    Thanks Rachael for spearheading this initiative. I was using ResearchPoint before we initiated our use of NXT. I told an officer that they would be able to access a profile report through NXT because I assumed it would be available since it was in RP. Oh well....Thanks again.
