This seems similar to something I was thinking of asking, which is that I'd like to be able to assign multiple Contact Types within the same record. I don't know if this is an issue for others, but for my Fdn I have different contact types at organizations for different uses ("solicitation contact" or "primary contact" or "acknowledgement contact" and etc when necessary); these help me pull the right person for the particular situation (a solicitation letter rather than an acknowledgement letter, for example) from Database view. I've jerry rigged our mail rules or exports to get most situations to work, but in some cases I'd have to have two relationships between the same two constituents because I want to be sure the correct person is recorded as the appropriate contact type for the org. Long story short, it would be great to just have one relationship record while having the option to have multiple contact types on it.
