Option to Suppress/Hide Contributions under Prospect Management

We have a significant amount of data under Contributions that was synced from ResearchPoint, but only later did we realize that much of that data was wrongly attributed. Now, there's a significant number of incorrect records in the database, but there's no tool to remove them globally. Even editing them in ResearchPoint won't help, as once a contribution record has been imported to RE/NXT, sync will only add more; it won't remove any.

The problem is that now solicitors and other staff may see amounts under Contributions and use that as part of their plan for asks, thereby using faulty data, potentially asking for far too much or too little.

Ideally, it would be nice to have a way to globally delete such contributions records, but a simpler solution to this particular issue may also be to just suppress visibility of those amounts in NXT. Under the Prospect Management pane, a simple checkbox (or two, if you separate out political contributions) under the settings gear could be implemented to determine whether or not NXT displays that information to users. The data would remain in the database, but would not be displayed without additional authorization or drilling down via other means.

    This would be extremely helpful.
