Allow moving of gifts from organization to individual and vice versa

So, I was very excited about the moving gifts feature recently released in NXT, only to discover that I cannot move a gift from an organization to an individual.  The bulk of our "errors" this way are just that.  It gets entered under the constituent's business, and they want it under their personal, or vice versa.  While being able to move them from one constituent to another is great, it feels like it's only half the job.

    This is a pretty common need. We often get online gifts that come in as being from an individual, but they are actually submitting a gift on behalf of an org (such as a church). Currently, we have a dummy individual constituent record that we move the gift to, convert the dummy record to an organization, then move the gift to the appropriate org record. It's a lot of extra steps.

    Our users need the capability to transfer gifts from an individual to an organization or vice versa. The need for this functionality is much greater than transferring a gift from an individual to an individual or an organization to an organization. Is this change on the roadmap?

    Honestly, this happens so often for so many random reasons. I deal with downloading a gift wrong into an individual or organization record constantly. The function of moving these gifts between ind. and org. records seems like a no brainer for a CRM system related to donor management. I would love to see the functionality enhanced to address this.

    That's usually where mistakes are made for us. Entry in the Soft Credit Constituent record instead of the Corporate / DAF record. This would be a huge time-saver at end of month. TY
