I'm so glad this is already an idea. It has bugged me for while that it takes so many steps to navigate to/see if there is an active pledge or recurring gift (especially quarterly/annual frequency). This really came to a head recently when a donor submitted a new recurring monthly gift and noted it was to replace their current recurring gift. No problem, I cancelled the much smaller monthly gift that had been running for years--not realizing that they also had a annual EFT pledge still active from 4 years prior, buried deep in the Gift List, which I would have otherwise asked for clarification about had I noticed it, because the new monthly gift equated to more than that annually. If active pledge and recurring gift records could be pinned to the top of giving history, or have another panel or feature banner area that it folds into, that would be EXTREMELY helpful.

(This is similar issue with Giving Statements: to show current active pledge, you have to extend the Giving Statement back years, to whichever year the pledge started. I think any active pledges and recurring gifts should always show up at the top of a Giving Statement if they were active at any point in the GS period)

I also concur with this idea that it would be helpful if the DBV legend feature carried over into Unified View to highlight certain gift types in different text colors or bold/italics so it is easier to review in the Work with Gifts area.

We have recently updated our procedures for cancelling recurring gifts in RE NXT (Handy when Database view is unavailable) and I'm reminded this this is still SERIOUSLY difficult to get to an Active Recurring Gift from the constituent record. There isnt even an option to show a column that indicates the Gift Status field when you're working with Gifts.

We also still cannot work with the Gift Status field in Insight Designer.
