For a CRM, being able to quickly add past actions at any point in using NXT would be a boon for fundraisers (so I could see an action icon like the "Help Center" question mark at the top would always open an add action panel for them). If nothing else, there should be a quick add option from their home screen and/or Work Center.
Additionally, it would be great if they could select multiple recipients for an action even if at the very least it creates copies of the action on each person's record, instead of one action that shows multiple recipients. So, for example, an event interaction can be noted quickly on five constituents' records simultaneously. Both these solutions would expedite their data entry in RE NXT instead of becoming a cumbersome task.
