We use gift date as the date the donor made the gift (signed the pledge form, wrote a check, filled out a credit card form, initiated a stock transfer, etc.).  The post date is the date in which we receive the gift.  In Lists, post date is not a column option.  Therefore, it makes it very hard to see when we received the gift in lists.  Please add post date and a column option for lists.
