On salesforce you can search an entire profile through the search field. NXT should be able to do the same.  Did you meet someone at a restaurant called Three Squares in Vergennes, VT? You can search "Three Squares" or "Vergennes" and find them. Do you only have the phone number for a constituent? You can just search for that.
