The new global settings for name formats in NXT are useful and way better than the lack of customization before, but it would be even better for my team if we could incorporate the Addressee/Salutation name format lists.

I'd like to either select one of the types from a drop-down, or have a function similar to the Processing in Mail/Export, where the name format uses a specific type IF it exists, or defaults to the general setting.

We find it's very useful to display [Title] [Preferred] [M.I.] [Last] [Suffix], but when someone's preferred name is their middle name, the display becomes misleading. I'd like to be able to set a "NXT Display Name" format (or something like it) for our donors with specific formats, and default to the global setting for everyone else.

(This idea is similar to previous ideas regarding the display name, but tries to reflect the recent roll-out of specific global settings.)
