Please add an option to RE that allows gift entry employees to BREAK a link between a gift and an existing pledge. Deleting a gift and re-entering it onto the record to break the link destroys the association with the existing batch and necessitates copious gift notes to indicate to future users the nature of the gift in question. There is a fairly simple way to break a link between a gift and a PROPOSAL right now but there is no logical way to break a link between an existing gift linked to a pledge.
