Delete Action from Actions List

As fundraisers attempt to manage their actions from the Actions List, it would be helpful for them to be able to delete actions straight from the list as opposed to only being able to do it on the constituent's record. I'd envision it right on the ellipsis with the other options to add, edit or mark complete.

It is absurd that the current design does not allow this.

This idea has been open for 10 years, with the plans to move to NXT as a total web solution it would be great to see this rolled out! Being able to delete actions from actions list or the Workcenter would help keep data clean and empower gift officers to keep their lists clean as they work.

Yes! I have a workflow that adds actions to 1st time donors. Sometimes the action is not needed, so it would be a time saver to be able to delete from the list vs going into the record to delete.

Yes this would be so helpful for database cleanup!

Lacking the ability to delete actions is incredibly frustrating.

Our Major Gifts team is embarking on a new initiative to be more purposeful about scheduling Actions and then completing them when they are finished.  They also need the ability to delete actions that aren't going to be completed because of unseen circumstances.  It is always difficult to tell them that they can't do something they need to do in NXT.

Yes! This is a total headache.

I completely agree.  Sometimes scheduled actions are not going to be done and they should be deleted, not left around or marked complete to get them out of the way.  They should be deleted, plans change, and it should be easy to indicate that.
