We would like the ability to have more seating rules that take into account gender.  For example, to distrubute tables so that each table has the same amount of women and men.  (eg. if 60 women and 40 men register for an event and each table seats 10 people, you would have 6 women and 4 men at every table).

Where I work, the cultural norm is to seat men next to women, (so man, woman, man, woman).  Alternatively we sometimes have homonormative seating which is man, man, woman woman, man man, woman, woman). So, it would be the ability to differentiate gender visually by colour when planning by giving different gender categories different colours
