As a health system we track our progress overall and by entity. We currently use the fund category field to identify the entity. Adding this functionality would provide real time overview of progress by entity. I imagine this would be helpful for organizations that use this field for other purposes as well, including: service line, school, restricted v. unrestricted, etc.
Also need to view by Fund custom fields (attributes in database view)
This one has been marked as "planned." Any updates on when this is going to happen? I was about to switch fund "type" and "category" in order to get around this lack of functionality.
We are also a large health system... and we need to be able to filter by both Fund Type (which hospital/entity) and Fund Category (service line).
I would like to add another vote for this feature. We use Fund Category to divide two divisions of our organization and our financials need to be separated by that division.
I just came here to post this idea, exactly! I really really need to be able to do this, and it is available on many of the other Analyze tabs.
