Trying to run mailing exports from the database view after I've asked colleagues to update NXT with business information. I've discovered that the 'print position' field doesn't get ticked when the position is input. When you run letters or labels through the classic database view, you have to then go through and update the print position field. It would be much easier if it was automatically updated to tick the box, and be an undo function, rather than an manual update function.
The Print Position box doesn't even appear to exist in NXT. I am just coming across this issue now because more and more DOs are using NXT and actually adding contact info. But there is no box to even check off in NXT, so they automatically appear in Database view as unchecked. And although we can globally change this, we shouldn't have to. The box should either exist in NXT, or the position field should export even if the print position checkbox is not checked off.
Just so you know, you can use Global Change (Org/Business Relationship) to check/uncheck that box for a query of records...no need to manually open and check it for every record.
