Allow Online Event Forms to automatically apply a configurable Gift Custom Field and value to gifts generated through the form.

Example:
Event: 2027 Alumni Gala
Configured Gift Custom Field: Event Name = 2027 Alumni Gala

Every gift processed through that form would automatically inherit this value.

This would create a simple way to pass event context from the form to the gift record, supporting downstream processes such as receipts, acknowledgements, reporting and segmentation.
