I love the new batch templates! I would like to recommend that we be able to default gift notes, custom fields and batch description. I am aware that default custom fields is coming but I would like to emphasize how important it is.

When I did gift batch entry in DBV, I would basically copy all of the defaults from the previous "check", "wire" or "stock" batch, etc. They had all of my attributes and notes saved so that I only had to fill in the new pertinent details. With the current status, I will have to type in my custom fields and notes on every gift.

On the template batch description I added FYx | Checks | x-x-xx because I wanted each batch description to have this populated. The description on the template seems like it is simply just a description of what type of batch it is and not the description that is saved with each batch. Could we add this as an option?
