Problem: Approved gift batches created in web view do not use the same column template when opened in database view. Staff who still review or reconcile batches in database view have to hunt for the fields they need, which slows review and makes errors easier to miss during the transition to web view.

Why it matters: Organizations are moving gift entry to web view ahead of the end of database view support, but reviewers often still work in database view during the transition. Batches should look the same in both views.

Suggested outcome: When an approved web view batch is opened in database view, show the columns, and in the same order, defined by the batch’s web view template. Or allow a database view batch template to be chosen for displaying web view batches.
