Currently when we receive an online memorial gift it comes through as a split gift when the donor chooses Donor Cover. Since the donor gets tax credit for the entire gift, it's important that we see the "whole gift"; however, we do not want the entire amount to be attributed to the memorial total of the tribute they have chosen. It needs to have the credit card fees subtracted when reporting the total. Right now though, the tribute is showing the "total" amount without subtracting the credit card fee. We have set up a fund specifically for credit card fee. The tribute should not include this fund, but we cannot change it. This impacts our reporting as well. We need a way to adjust tribute gifts so that credit card fee is not taken into consideration as part of the total.
