Ability to Configure Fiscal Year End on a Specific Date Instead of Month-End

Currently, Raiser's Edge only allows organizations to define the fiscal year end by selecting a month. The fiscal year automatically ends on the last day of the selected month.

Many organizations operate on fiscal calendars that end on a specific date rather than the last day of a month. For example:

  • April 5 to April 4

  • July 15 to July 14

  • October 7 to October 6

At this time, these fiscal year structures cannot be configured because the Fiscal Year-End setting only supports month-end dates.

    Agreed, this is something we definitely require being in the UK and our fiscal year running to the April dates listed above. All reports, queries, etc. have to be adjusted for each financial year instead of being able to just use the "This FY", "Last FY" buttons.
