During gift batch entry, once Add constituent is done, prefill it in the new gift's constituent field.
Currently, after Add constituent is done, you must again search for the constituent you had just added. Prefilling the constituent with the newly added constituent would improve the batch gift entry workflow.

This ability is in database view already and is sorely needed in webview. It's yet another piece where another click is needed. When entering data, these clicks really add up over multiple gifts and constituents!
This is how it works in Database View.
In Web View we have to search for the donor, then add the donor when not found, and then have to search again for the donor to add them to the row - this seems to be stepping two steps backwards in modern data entry.
this would speed up gift entry by reducing clicks and keystrokes
