I’d like to suggest an enhancement to the Online Data Review functionality in the Event Module.

When a registrant RSVPs through an event registration form, their information is pushed back into Raiser’s Edge NXT. When a full constituent record is found, the process is seamless. However, when no matching constituent record is found, the registration is pushed into Online Data Review.

The current limitation is that Online Data Review does not provide enough visibility or flexibility to manage these registrations before they are processed. Specifically:

• There is no ability to remove or delete individual registrations.

• Full registration details, including named guests, are not visible until the registrant is linked to an existing constituent record or a new constituent record is created.

• This can result in duplicate or incorrect participant records when the registrant and their guest have different constituent statuses.

For example, a wife who is not yet a constituent may register for an event and list her husband as her guest. If the husband is already a constituent, the system may link the registration to the husband. When the information is pushed into Participants, this can result in the husband appearing as both the host and the guest, while the original registrant (the wife) is excluded.

Currently, the workaround is to link or create constituent records for the registrations in Online Data Review and then manually scan the participant list for duplicates or other inconsistencies. This becomes extremely difficult to manage for larger events and guest lists.

Requested enhancement: Online Data Review should provide additional manipulation and review capabilities, including the ability to view complete registration and guest information and remove, edit, or otherwise manage registrations before they are pushed into Participants.

This would provide greater control over event data, reduce duplicate or inaccurate participant records, and make the registration-to-participant workflow much more manageable.
