Apply insight calculations to corresponding gift lists

  • Calculations and Filters: Insights perform calculations based on measures, filters, and Revenue Type settings. Gift lists show the full amount of individual gifts without these calculations.

  • Record View: Records in flyouts show the full record without metrics or filters applied, unlike Insights.

would like the option for the flyouts from insights to show the correct revenue type settings in gift lists. Right now the gift list shows the original amount of the gift, not accounting for write-offs or planned gift payments, resulting in inflated numbers on the gift list.

    The flyouts are supposed to support and expand upon the information shown in the insights (E.g. $1,000,000 revenue showing in the insight; the gifts making up that number show in the flyout). If they have different results, this point is moot.

    The ability to validate data is paramount. It also provides crediblity when data is questioned.
