When Address Finder runs in Database View or WebView, there are issues with how the resulting address data is added to the system. Using the same address type as the previous address is not always the best option. In addition, when I review and pre-clean the Address Finder results, I sometimes find addresses that need to be removed because they do not belong to the correct “branch” of an organization.
As users, I feel we should have more control over how and when this data is added to RENXT. It would be helpful to have the option to either manually update the new addresses through our own import process by giving us a link to the list of addresses needing to be updated or have RENXT automatically update the addresses based on the Address Finder results.
Personally, I would much rather have the opportunity to pre-clean, review, and correct the data before it is added to the system than have to find and correct records after the data has already been imported. When I run Address Finder in Database View, this is exactly what I currently do—I take the results, review and clean up the data, make the necessary corrections, remove addresses that should not be imported, and then import the addresses myself rather than allowing the system to automatically update the records.
Deceased Record Finder gives us a list after it runs to check whether or not the person is actually deceased. Please allow us to do a similar thing with the Address Finder results.
I am not looking forward to having to find and correct all of these addresses after they have already been added to the system. Giving users more control over this process would allow us to ensure the data is accurate before it enters RENXT, rather than creating additional cleanup work afterward.
