The enhancement would let donors specify a dollar amount for each designee and then display a total gift based on those selections rather than require the donor to calculate the total desired gift amount before selecting designees and then have to edit the default designee gift amounts, which the system currently calculates as an equal amount to each designee based on the total gift amount selected. The designated giving functionality in Luminate Online currently works like the proposed enhancement and provides a much better experience for the donor in choosing how much to give each designee.
