Gift lists show split gift amount
Currently, gift lists have limited and misleading functionality. If the donor gives a $5,000 gift, split between funds A and B, it will show on a gift list for fund A for $5,000. I know it's not accurate, but some people don't come to me before running quick gift lists. If you look for all gifts for a fund or campaign in DBV, it shows the split amount, not the gift amount. That same feature should be in NXT/Unified view for looking at gift lists, gifts by fund, campaign, appeal, etc.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the challenges associated with analyzing gifts that are split across multiple campaigns, funds, or appeals.
We've recently updated the Total amount key information so that it now includes only the gift splits that match your selected filters. For example, when filtering by a specific campaign, fund, or appeal, the total reflects only the matching split amounts rather than the full amount of each gift.
We recognize that additional transparency is still needed within the resulting gift lists themselves. To address this, we are actively working on a new column that will display the associated gift splits and their amounts directly within the gift list experience. This enhancement will make it easier to understand how individual gifts contribute to filtered results and validate the totals being reported.
While the recent changes improve the accuracy of filtered totals, we are leaving this idea open until the split details are available within gift lists. We'll continue to share updates as that work progresses.
