Instead of basing the Abandoned Gift Reminder feature on the amount that the donor last clicked before leaving the giving page OR on whichever amount was default highlighted, make it generic without a giving amount. Ex: "Are you ready to complete your donation?" VS "Are you ready to complete your $50.00 donation?" Alternatively, allow us as Raiser's Edge customers to be able to customize the reminder.
