Send Tax Receipt to Same Email as on Online Donation Form
In online giving, the acknowledgement emails go to the email address the donor indicated on the form, but the tax receipts go to the email address marked "primary" in the constituent record. This is confusing and inconsistent! Everything should go to the email address the donor used on the form.

We have just shipped a new receipting option to allow PDF receipts to be downloaded directly from the donation confirmation email instead of sending separately after batch approval. Since the confirmation email always goes to the email address the donor entered onto the form, with the receipt link included, this should satisfy this idea.
If you're using the receipting today that triggers after batch approval, you'll need to edit your forms and change to this new receipting option. This is planned as part of our upcoming "real time receipting" release where you can choose to have the pdf send as part of the donation confirmation email. Look for this release later this month!
Receipts sent manually or after the batch is approved will still send to the primary email address.
