Currently, in Database View, when running Statistical Reports, we can use the Fields 2 tab and select Gift Attribute > Category from the Field to Use drop-down. This allows us to break down gift totals by attribute categories, such as Individual, Business, Foundation, Event, and other classifications.

However, this same functionality is not available in Web View. While Custom Fields are available, there is currently no option to select the Custom Field Category (equivalent to the Gift Attribute Category in Database View) as a reporting field.

This breakdown is essential for our organization because our Donor Relations department uses these categories every month to reconcile our fundraising reports with our Finance department. Without this functionality, we must continue relying on Database View to complete an important part of our reconciliation process, even though we are trying to transition more reporting to Web View.

Requested Enhancement:
Please add the ability to use Custom Field Categories in Web View statistical reports, similar to the existing Gift Attribute > Category option available in Database View. This would allow organizations to generate the same detailed reporting and reconciliation without needing to switch between platforms.

Thank you for considering this enhancement. Adding this feature would greatly improve reporting consistency and help organizations that rely on category-level gift reporting for financial reconciliation.
