As the database version of Raise's Edge is being retired, we would like to request that the Web View Post to General Ledger export be available in the same format and export as the current database version.
Currently, the Web View and database exports have different formats. Since we do not use Financial Edge NXT, we rely on a third-party tool (that Blackbaud connected us to) to convert the export into a format that is compatible with our accounting system. Our existing conversion process is built specifically around the format of the database version of the export.
Having the Web View export maintain the same format would allow us to continue using our existing accounting workflow and third-party conversion process without requiring significant changes or redevelopment.
This enhancement would provide a smoother transition from the database to Web View while minimizing disruption to our current financial processes.
