Allow Access to All Inactive Funds, Campaigns, and Appeals in List Filters
As an institution with more than 85 years of history, we have accumulated a significant number of funds, campaigns, and appeals, many of which are now inactive but remain important for reporting, analysis, and historical data management.
Currently, when filtering by inactive funds in Lists, not all available options are displayed. For example, I am unable to view inactive funds beyond the letter "H." This limitation prevents me from selecting the records I need and significantly reduces the usefulness of Lists and dashboards.
Active funds do not create this issue because the available options are generally limited. However, when users need to work with inactive funds, campaigns, or appeals, they should be able to access and select all available values without restriction.
I would like Blackbaud to remove or substantially increase the limit on the number of inactive funds, campaigns, and appeals available in filter selection lists. Historical data is critical for long-standing institutions, and incomplete filter options make it difficult to build accurate lists, dashboards, and reports.
Benefit: Users would be able to fully leverage Lists and dashboards for historical analysis, fundraising reporting, and data management without being restricted by system-imposed selection limits..
