We are looking to use Raiser's Edge to increase transparency and tracking of thank you letter responsibility. To that end, we want to be able to connect the accountable staff person to specific gifts. Usually this will be the fundraiser assigned to the constituent... except when it isn't. For example, the fundraiser is on leave, or the fundraiser is also the CEO and someone else is taking admin tasks off her plate. We can manually add these people during manual gift entry, but we would also like to be able to add them automatically with online gifts, and so architecture that supports our efforts would really help us automate more of our process.
