Make it possible to delete gifts which were entered incorrectly even if "receipted" was selected.
I had entered a gift type incorrectly, can't change it, can't delete the gift because I had selected that it was receipted. Ridiculous I can't clean this up based on making a mistake with one single category when entering data.
The fact you cannot adjust gift type or delete gifts incorrectly entered if they are linked to any of the following is ridiculous:
an adjustment
a matching gift
a pledge payment
a recurring gift payment
a pledge write-off
receipt history
a receipt status of Receipted.

Agreed - administrators need the ability to edit ALL fields on ALL gifts as mistakes will always be made, historical data needs to be cleaned up, etc. The limits on what can and cannot be edited in web view are very frustrating and are one of the primary reasons I still spend so much time in database view.
I hope that eventually the ability to change gift type from pay-cash/cash and vice versa will one day be available. Its a huge pain to reverse a gift to zero, and reenter as a new gift with all the same data, except the gift type!
Yes, yes, yes. Especially after a migration. Things tend to get added incorrectly..
I agree too. There are times when we need to fix historical gift entries for one reason or another so that everything's being captured and reported correctly (entries that predate me) and it's a doddle in database view; if we can't do this in NXT then that's going to cause a huge issue.
I agree with this suggestion. Not being able to delete gifts that are entered incorrectly just adds clutter to our database.
