Ability to change pledge status in NXT
I wrote-off a pledge in NXT, but it still lists the pledge as active. Currently, the only way to change the status (to completed or terminated) is to do it in database view. We absolutely need this capability in NXT before database view goes away....

How to change a recurring gift or pledge status
Recurring gifts and Pledges are tracked by Active, Held, Terminated, and Completed statuses. These fields can help determine how to process the Recurring gift and Pledge payments.
Answer:
Note: The status of Automated Recurring Gifts can only be changed from the Gift record in web view.
In web view:
At this time only Recurring Gift statuses can be changed in web view. To change a Pledge status, see the database view section below.
In web view, open the Recurring Gift record
Click Mark as
Select the relevant status.
Note: When selecting Terminated or Complete you will receive a confirmation notice as this process cannot be undone once saved.

So glad to see that this has been changed to planned. All the items that impact reporting are very important to webview!
I was encouraged by Blackbaud support to share here that while this missing functionality may not affect gift processing, it does affect our ability to pull accurate reports and data. I ran a query of all our active pledges, and the pledge I wrote off was among the results. This gives us inaccurate data for reporting, and we use these reports for grant proposals, meetings with our boards, as well as in our Annual Report and other materials.
As an update, apparently pledges made in NXT cannot have their status changed in database view, so there is currently no way to change a pledge status for pledges made in NXT.
