NXT batch entry is entirely too cumbersome. One of my colleagues describes it as "too many clicks and too much scrolling." Batch entry in Database is easy to read: you can get all the information on one screen without scrolling, the dropdown options are compact and you can see several at once as you type, it's much more responsive to bring up options when you start typing, you largely don't have to deal with several popups or screens to find an option (adding a search field directly into soft credits to put one in quickly with an option to add more would go a long way). Making it more readable at a glance in the way a spreadsheet is would ease a lot of navigation issues; removing steps to streamline entry would dramatically improve the process.
