The issue right now is that write-offs are being applied as pledge payments. When you look at the constituent's record, the gift history shows the full pledge amount even if a chunk of it has been written off giving a false donation history. The system is not smart enough to take this off.
I am also seeing this behaviour in dashboards when using the "Gift Amount Committed" tile, the display total is deducting write-offs from the total (according to the Committed Revenue settings), but when previewing/creating a list from that insight, the total includes the written-off amount. Even if you add the "Only show committed revenue" filter, it does not deduct the write-offs. This causes needless headaches trying to get our Finance team to trust the data in web view. Trust in the system is undermined by these discrepancies.
There is no part of a fundraising office that considers a written-off pledge as either committed, received, or recognition revenue. Once a pledge is written off, the display total of that gift should be the amount of the pledge less the write-off amount.
At minimum, in a list of gifts, we need to be able to see the write off amount (maybe in the Balance column?).
