Custom Fields are difficult to review in RENXT due to the small tile layout and multiple pages of attributes. This makes it time-consuming and easy to miss key information.
Proposed Solution
Add a dedicated “Custom Fields” tab that displays all fields in a full-page, scrollable list (similar to database view).
Benefits
Saves time by eliminating clicking through multiple pages
Improves visibility with all fields in one place
Enhances usability with a clean, full-page view
Reduces errors by making data easier to review
Supports heavy data use for organizations with many custom fields
Example Use Case
A user managing a constituent with 30+ Custom Fields currently has to click through several pages in a small tile. With this enhancement, they could open the “Custom Fields” tab and instantly view all entries in one scrollable list, making updates and reviews significantly faster and more accurate.
This is a high traffic area for us and having it's own tab would be very helpful. Also if the display could be more like dbview (being able to see more rows) that would be an added benefit.
It is important to be able to see and sort by all of the custom fields columns.
Agree that custom fields in webview are challenging. The ability to sort by date and value are essential for ALL custom fields! For example, in web view you can sort membership custom fields by alpha but not by date or value. We have to scroll through pages to find the most recent date or specific value; so time consuming!! In database view, you can sort by many more columns which makes finding what you need fast and easy.
