Prior to the update that introduced the tabbed view in APPEALS, key summary metrics, specifically Cumulative Amount Raised, were clearly visible at the top of an appeal’s page. This made it easy for users to quickly understand the appeal’s overall performance at a glance.
Currently, accessing the total amount raised requires a time-consuming and unintuitive workaround:
Click Filter
Select Specific Range
Enter start date (e.g., 01/01/1800)
Enter today’s date
Click Apply
Locate the Cumulative Review tile
Scroll to the final data point
Hover over the last dot (ensuring it’s the correct one)
Manually capture the displayed total
This process is inefficient, prone to user error, and significantly reduces usability, especially for tasks that previously took seconds.
Reintroduce the Cumulative Amount Raised as a prominently displayed summary at the top of each appeal’s page.
Improves efficiency: Users can instantly access critical appeal performance data without unnecessary steps
Reduces error risk: Eliminates reliance on manually selecting filters and interpreting hover data points
Enhances usability: Restores a clear, intuitive user experience
Supports decision-making: Quick visibility into totals allows staff to respond faster to inquiries and internal reporting needs
Addresses a regression: Brings back a previously available and highly useful feature that users relied on.
This change would restore a simple but essential piece of functionality, saving time and improving the day-to-day experience for RENXT users.
Strongly agree! Showing a rounded number is simply not useful for fundraisers. We need to easily be able to view exact revenue raised, offering the ability to see how much is raised by fund in each appeal. We cannot effectively and efficiently do analysis on our work with the updated tools.
