We have 7 different registration forms for an event (because RE doesn't allow discount codes) and we need to cap the event at 90 people. I can't control which form someone uses, but if I set them all at 90 then 630 people can conceivably register. I want the "event capacity" number to count everyone who registers (attending) across all the forms, and turn on a universal "we're sold out" message (editable) for all the forms once that capacity number is reached. This could also be solved by having discount codes.
Definitely need to be able to cap the number over the whole event to cater for different ticket types, otherwise you constantly have to check the numbers.
I completely agree! Sometimes our event cap is 20 people, but we have different fees, and, unless we constantly check the numbers, we risk to overbook it... And then we need to contact participants, process refunds etc etc which is never nice! The total cap should work across different fees!
