Could you please put tribute field in the donation approving window, as we have anonymous field to show up. I would like to see tribute field before approving online gift. Right now I have to approve the donation, then go to every single constituent profile, click on approved gift and then see the tribute field - It takes a lot of time. I would like to add tribute information to my comments of that particular gift before approving it. We also use the tribute information in our manually written Thank you letter which we do after approving every single gift. It slows down the whole process- and very tiring for giving day or busy day.

The new grid view batch will ship with Tributes (in its own column and not buried) being view only from online giving forms but plan to have it fully addable and editable shortly after. We do not have plans to add tributes or any other linking data directly on the single add gift form in an effort to slim that experience down and allow for core gift data to be entered there. After you save a single gift you do land on the gift page to make any links or connections from there which is the same amount of clicks and navigation that would be done on the database view side.

So this idea is part planned and part no plans to implement

Agreed, we receive a lot of honors and memorials and having to attach the tribute after a batch is committed creates double work

I agree - this needs to be done in a field on the batch not buried like it currently is. We need to see the name on the row like we do for fundraiser as you said!
