In the Database view, you can create a letter to send to a constituent from the constituents record. When this letter has been finished and printed, there is the option from the word plug in to save the actual document itself as an action on the database. This is useful for us as we can look back and see what exactly each letter we have sent has said.

When this action is viewed on the database, in the bottom left corner you can see the "Word" icon and this then brings up the document, but this cannot be seen in the NXT version of the action. I'm not talking about attachments (which can be viewed) but at the moment we save the document as an action, so they cannot be viewed on NXT (where we are planning to open up the database up to the rest of our staff)

After discussion with Raiser's Edge Support we were encouraged to bring this idea up here for development.
