Subscribing to an Idea is a 3 field + 3 click process?

I went to subscribe to an Idea so that I get notifications when additional information is added.  I am signed in to Omnibar and the Community both, but when I clicked [Subscribe] I had to type in my email address, click [Next], type in my firstname then lastname, and finally click [Next] again.  This seems unnecessary.  It will also discourage me from subscribing to other ideas.

Oh, and now I have an email wanting me to verify my email address and create a password.  So does this mean I will log in to Omnibar and/or Community, navigate to Ideas, and then log in again?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for your feedback and for contributing your idea. We do realize that at the moment this is an additional step and appreciate your patience. I do have to go through this process myself and see how it costs you time, which isn't our desired end state.

The good news is we 're researching a way to have you automatically signed into the Idea Management portion after you're signed into the Omnibar. Aha! is a new ideation tool we've implemented for customers and we're still working on integrating this with the new community platform. We'll get this idea moved over to "Future consideration" and I will keep you informed of any updates.

    Thanks!

I do not seem to be able to subscribe to many topics, when I click the subscribe button it continues to say I will not receive updates.
