Having records recently accessed in view

Everyone in our organization uses RE: Records records recently accessed feature a lot. I know that there is a workaround of having multiple tabs open, but this is not an ideal solution.  We keep several research tools, internal databases or websites open along with NXT and tabs become unwieldy.

A couple ideas my team had was having a hyperlink available to the last X number of records opened near the search function (on the omnibar or one the dark work center bar) or if you click into the search for a constituent have a drop down of the last five records you recently accessed automatically drop down before you even start typing anything (ideal scenario).

I am happy to announce that we have just shipped the ability to view recently accessed constituent records. When you click in the "Search for a constituent" field, you will now see your 8 most recently accessed records. Thanks to everyone here for their feedback and patience!

I see some good recent activity here. Just wanted to let everyone know that we have started work on a feature that I believe will satisfy this request for constituent records. Changing the status to "Planned". Stay tuned!

Yes----we are definitely missing being able to see recently accessed records as well, in NXT. Thanks!

Yes!  Although I've noticed that our Hosted RE:7 sometimes clears out the Recently Accessed Records lists (we moved to Hosting about a week and a half before NXT went live, so we're learning both).

I also miss having the ability to search by other fields (most notably Constituent ID) which I know is on the radar already, but didn't want to pass up a chance to mention it again :-)
