Ideally you could export the event participants information directly from NXT and it shows the answers from participants (dietary, what school you go to. etc). Seems like a simple fix when you can click on a participant and see that information instantly. Please add this function Blackbaud

We use attributes to track some specific information that occurs every time we hold recurring events. It would be helpful to have a way to view those attributes as a column along with the participants. Where does this stand in terms of making this functional?

Thank you for the update and the new tile for participant options.  I would really like to see Custom Fields become editable as my organization uses this tile to implement tags on the event as a whole, rather than each individual participant.  Fingers are still crossed for this to happen.

We have just released a new feature called Participant Options, which is a new tile on both the Event Record and Participant Records, where you can define additional pieces of information you want to collect about participants for an event and record them per participant (such as dietary restrictions, meal choices, etc.) This is a brand new concept that is meant to replace participant attributes used today in database view.

Some of the examples given on this Idea are around event attribute needs. We have not yet solved this within NXT - you can view event attributes on the event record, but you cannot update them. As such, I will continue to keep this Idea open for voting and update it as we come closer to an event attribute solution.

Attribute/custom field support is planned for the next few months. We may be introducing a more first class way to manage common registrant attributes, like meal choices.
